Special interest holidays
Les Pommiers is ideally situated for cyclists or walkers. A myriad of flat tiny lanes connect the coastal villages to beaches. The undulating bocage is around half an hour by bicycle inland from the coast: a network of high hedged quiet roads and bridleways criss-cross the peninsula. A "Train Touristique" runs from 7th July to 27th August on Tuesdays on Tuesdays and Thursday between St Georges and market towns Portbail and Barneville-Carteret. The Marais region, around half an hour away by car, is a large area of protected marshland with an abundance of waterfowl and bankside mammals. Canoes may be hired at St Sauveur le Vicomte and guided boat trips are available with stops at both a restaurant and a café. A treetop adventure trail is available at St Sauveur le Vicomte.
Distances
The sailing resorts of Portbail and Barneville-Carteret are both 10 minutes drive from the studio.

This lovely gite was exactly what we were looking for: cosy, romantic and calm and also offering everything we needed. How to describe the past week....? Reading, resting, laziness, swimming, walking, eating. This is a special place where anything but relaxation seems wrong. Sandra & Sean, Munich.
We have loved staying at Les Pommiers - it has everything we've needed, is very comfortable and is so peaceful! We ate at the local restaurant, Le Clos Rubier, twice - fantastic food and service - well worth a visit. C & T, London
A gem of a cottage. And Normandy surpassed all my expectations. A brilliant combination. Ruth, Baldock, UK.
Quelques jours très agrèables aux Les Pommiers. Loin de tout, de petit gite chaleureux, accueillant et confortable nous a permis de profiter de nos jours de vacances. Michelle & Stephanie, Paris.
